These photographs were taken in the summer of 2025 in Minnesota. Their subjects include rivers, forests, and urban landscapes; splendour and disarray. They are simultaneously about the geography of the Midwest, the role of industrialisation, and the crisis of our time: climate change.
These photographs were submitted as a project for my Master of Arts in Photography at the Academy of Art University.
